Ponce de Leon Middle is considered as one of the Top 9 Magnet Schools in the US by Magnet Schools of America
Ponce de Leon Middle is now a Certified National Magnet School by Magnet Schools of America as a National Demonstration School. Ponce de Leon Middle joined an elite group of previously certified schools that are recognized as the the top magnet schools in the nation.

Ponce de Leon Middle wins a Silver STEM Designation. STEM is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines — science, technology, engineering and mathematics — in an interdisciplinary and applied approach.

Principal’s Message
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Ponce de Leon Middle School, an International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme. As the principal, it is my honor to be the instructional leader. It will be my personal goal to continue the tradition of academic excellence and school pride, as well as providing students a plethora of opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities and community service projects.
